WOW, everyone! I'm so flattered you all stopped by to take in some of these azure waters today! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments: mattclark, Campdesrachs, Mitch, Gertrud, Scorny, photogeniks, Amy, Road Blog, mari-b, and greenkayak73! The bay is incredibly striking and I didn't realize how blue the water was until I saw the pictures afterwards. It was hard seeing color through all the haze, but I'm really pleased with how these images turned out. Stay tuned for more :o).

Its a nice boat! My girlfriend and I recently spent a night aboard the Lagoon Explorer. Four air conditioned cabins, each with its own private head. Maximum of eight people on board + a crew that we guessed was another 8 or so people! Look on the internet for Lagoon Explorer, owned by Tropical Sails. There are at least two Lagoon Explorer junks and I think they told us another three are on order. These people also operate the Dragon Pearl, a bigger boat.

Hi brady! I actually slept on the Dragon Pearl, which I really enjoyed. Handspan does a great tour of the bay and their food was plentiful and yummy! Thanks santhosh0123, I'm so pleased you like this one too! Garry, yes, the water IS that color. I promise. NO PS-ing here, just Raw processing and jpeg saving. brown-dog, it is a magical place, I've just begun uploading some of my favorites from the trip. Stay tuned!

Ah! The Dragon Pearl looked good. We picked the Lagoon Explorer since it was a smaller boat. But in the end I don't think it made too much of a difference since all the boats seem to follow the same path!
