It was such a beautiful day today for February! And it was actually light out when I left at 5 pm! I went to WestFarms Mall after work and snapped a couple of pics there. Although this was not the best pic of the day, I put it up because I liked the colors. And that Regal Tang looked and kind of acted just like Dory from "Finding Nemo." Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

One month done! This picture was unexpected, but it was so cute I couldn't resist. Here's my dog, Roxie, napping in the laundry basket.

So while I was at work today, I thought to myself, "What should I do after work? Should I go to Westfarms and buy a new Vera Bradley bag, or should I go to Whole Foods?" This only means one thing: I've become a West Hartford Woman. Help!

After 30 days of pictures, I realized I really like taking closeups. I also realized that my food photos seem to come out the best.

For the record, I did not buy any peppers of any color.

The wall of the front lobby at the hotel where we had Maggie's birthday had a cool textured panel on it. I tried to take some closeups to do something abstract for the day.

Today was Maggie's birthday party at the Springhill Suites Marriott. For years, we've been renting a hotel room for our birthday parties so we could swim and have a sleepover. It's fun because most of us have winter birthdays and it's not that expensive because it's an off season.

Now that Maggie's celebration is over, Kevin's birthday is up next...this week!
