This tanker truck jack-knifed and blocked the Highlands Highway while avoiding collision with a speeding PMV. At least that is what I was told by the bystanders. I'm glad it wasn't leaking, and glad nobody seemed to be playing with fire nearby. There are no alternate routes. This is the only highway connecting Goroka and Kainantu. Unfortunately, we were on the wrong side of the crash, trying to get home.
