Station Fire Brings a Flurry of Flowers
Here's yet another example of the way flowers follow a devastating wild fire. Many areas that were burned completely have come back with amazingly diverse populations of wildflowers. Even the manzanita that was burned to a crisp is sprouting new shoots from its base.
Please come follow my latest endeavor, the Wildflower Conservancy. You'll find lots of helpful information as well as reports from recent wildflower sightings. Thank you!
