Bass Harbor Light

You guessed it - this was yet another foggy day in Maine. This is the Bass Harbor Lighthouse - which is apparently the most photographed lighthouse. Unfortunately for us, it was another foggy, grey day. And there were a ton of people on the rocks which made it even harder to get a decent photo.

You know I have been to Maine so many times and those sunny days one sees in the vacation brochures are few and far between... you beautifully captured the real essence of Maine in your photos. I am so enjoying them!

fog is good and different. I know what you mean about it being crowded on the rocks. I went last fall and there were 4 of us. I had prime spot. By the time I left, there were 30 photographers on the rocks.
