Cobblestone Bridge
This is one of the 17 bridges on the Carriage Roads in Acadia National Park that were meticulously engineered and constructed to complement the landscape. This is the only one done in cobblestone - the rest are granite. As you can see from the date on the bridge, this was built in 1917.
As a side note - we have been dealing with critters around our house lately. We had a squirrel in the attic space last year that we managed to get rid of (he was sealed in with the new siding and soffit), while we were on vacation this year a family of raccoons moved into the attic by climbing up our pergola and breaking through the soffits - they moved out on their own thankfully and now I have discovered I have a mouse that has moved into my car! Any suggestions on how to get a mouse out of a car - I don't even know where he is - I just see (and smell) evidence that there is one. CommentsSeñor Cohiba
