Carriage Road Reflections

Carriage Road Reflections by Kadacat (Marlene).
There are approximately 60 miles of carriage roads in Acadia National Park - all of which do not permit motorized vehicles. They are a result of the foresight, financial backing, ingenuity and generosity of John Rockefeller Jr. They were constructed with the best engineers, contractors and landscape architects around. I will be posting more photos and info about this fabulous road system in future posts.

This is Molly - the work horse of the team Molly and Mitch (see previous post). If you look closely in the ball you will see the reflection of the carriage road.
