Carriage Road Reflections
There are approximately 60 miles of carriage roads in Acadia National Park - all of which do not permit motorized vehicles. They are a result of the foresight, financial backing, ingenuity and generosity of John Rockefeller Jr. They were constructed with the best engineers, contractors and landscape architects around. I will be posting more photos and info about this fabulous road system in future posts.
