A japanese allspice ; a winter sweet / ロウバイ

It has been cold . A japanese allspice is full blooming now.
冬の厚い雲の間から、ちょうどお日様が射してくれました。ロウバイを明るい日の光の中で撮れたのはこの冬初めてのことでした。今日は、久しぶりに写真が撮れて幸せでした。

Brambling / アトリ

I saw a group of little birds. The size is larger than that of sparrows. They have orange breasts, black backs and heads and white bellies. They are colorful. But they are so careful and timid that we can't see them nearby. They were perching on the top of a tall tree.
高い木の上にたくさんの小鳥がとまっているのを見つけました。雀よりも大きくヒヨドリよりも小さいぐらいの大きさです。レンズを通してみると意外とカラフルな鳥でした。彼らは集団で移動し、日本にはシベリアの方から冬に渡ってくる鳥だそうです。時には驚くほどの大きな集団になるそうですが、ここでは、雀ほど低い木に降りてきてくれないので、なかなか目にすることがありません。

A sign of the spring / 馬酔木

I find out a sign of the spring. Ashibi (
andromeda)'s flowers starts to bloom here. Though it is cold and sometimes snowing.
いつもの植物園で、あせび（あしび）の花が咲いているのを見つけました。よく光を浴びる枝から咲き始めてました。嬉しい！
