Soufflé

Soufflé by k_idell.
Mike's and my first attempt at making soufflés was fairly successful. We made two delicious dark chocolate soufflés in 6-ounce ramekins, which we had bought about a year ago and had never used. We served them on the beautiful plates that we got from Jenn. I think I burned the chocolate a teensy bit, so my first couple of bites tasted like rich chocolate with an aftertaste of burning.

This looks freaking good. I just had another suffle last night, though it was cheese and apple, also extremely tasty.

Ohh, it WAS tasty. It was so tasty, we repeated the recipe last Friday night. And this time we added a few drops of peppermint oil, so it tasted like a big, fluffy Andes candy! Mint and chocolate...mmmm.
