      Personally, I find this to be a pretty creepy set. This is my friend's house and my office is further down the stream...

      While it feels a bit invasive, the execution is excellent.

      Completely amazing what someone can do with a rooftop. This one is pretty incredible.I think I would end up spending more time out there than inside!

      @jwilly: That is certainly true. What was creepy wasn't so much being watched as being recorded and the weird coincidence of finding not one but two places with personal associations in your small sample of rooftops. :)

      So you know, I forwarded this to one of the residents. Some tidbits: one of the residents is an architect, meaning the interior is even more beautiful, and it was briefly the site of John and Yoko's Nutopian Embassy.

      I love this one. The colours are so, so rich. I want to be at that roof RIGHT NOW. This rooftop might be favourite in the whole set because it looks so gorgeous and fresh. And comfortable!!!

      This is my roof and I don't consider myself to be wealthy.

      If wealth were only measured in rooftops....

      The only thing more obscene than a flagrant display of wealth is the act of denying that it is so.

      @scrollicious
      You won't remember the other houses in this set tomorrow, so it's more than likely that people who have no association with this picture won't remember it either. It's window shopping, nothing more. So it's probably less creepy than you think.

      It's not creepy at all! I'm pretty sure the outsides of buildings - rooftops included - are in the public domain.

      @dw1518 so you own two of the apts in this series?

      @dw1518 -- what qualifies one to be "wealthy"?

      @scrollicious Creepy? More like latent paranoia. It's just another photo of a garden, like any street level garden that people pause to admire. What's weird is that anyone thinks rooftops are some sort of exclusive space that's somehow off-limits to public gaze. Keep in mind that urban gardens are typically status indicators, and are about showing off. Furthermore, greenspace comes at a premium, and well-maintained greenspace is absolute proof of luxury. So it's understandable that people want to see what's there and remark on either the ostentation or the luxury of it all. Even the owner must admit to wanting something special for others to see, even vicariously.

      In some folk's world every sign of well-being is about showing off. I don't want to live there.
