I lived there for about 4 months... walked to school every day through that very piazza, then over the Ponte Vecchio. Man -- it's time to go back! (Thanks for the reminder)

I recently returned from Florence and I'm really missing it. The Uffizi and it's Gallery/Loggia were probably my favorite thing there. If it's even possible to have 1 favorite in Florence. So thanks J. Wallace your photo is beautiful......
