Celebration socks

These are January Celebrate Good Times socks for Socktopia. It is also my first pair for the Lime and Violet sock marathon (where my goal was to knit 3 pair, as opposed to a certain yardage). They're called my celebration socks because I bought the yarn in Nebraska over Christmas break, and I worked on them during my birthday month. They weren't done for me to wear on my birthday, but I did sit and knit on them that night. Also, they're the same length...I think my legs must've been sitting funny that day. Yarn is Trekking XXL 109, pattern is Garter Stitch Rib from Sensational Knitted Socks. Finished January 23, 2007.
