Workstation Part Deux

Newer Older

I've rearranged my workstation to accommodate the newest member of the family... 17" MacBook Pro and Dell 3007WFP 30" LCD. I've decided to switch to using the MacBook exclusively. I sold the G5 tower and because I'm losing the ability to drive my two 20" screens, got the 30" Dell screen.

The Dell is definitely an experience... I'm sure I'll get used to it, but right now it's kind of staggering how big it is. It's too big to take in in one glance, but it's also nice having one big screen instead of two little ones.

In any case, I deleted the first impression photo because... well... my desk was a mess of cables. Here it is in its final configuration.

I do use Stickies... but there's times where I don't want it on the computer, I want it on the wall. :)

And yeah... Pages is great for quick stuff I want to look perty. And Keynote is the only presentation app I'll use anymore... it makes the presentations look 10x better by default.

I know. I originally thought itd be a waste of money. Then I tried the 30 day trial for a good 3 minutes, and went out and bought a copy of iWork.
