United Airlines: misplaced priorities
Here in the "Red Carpet" waiting lounge at Los Angeles airport, there's a
giant flatscreen TV that no one is watching. Meanwhile, there's still no wireless internet access in this place, and tons of folks looking at lonely laptops. Sell the TV, buy us some innernet! I asked about this at the front desk here and they said the WiFi is held up by a dispute with the airport. Funny how travel makes me care about these things. I think I will return to my "Shaming of America" issue of the Economist. CommentsWould you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
