I went to a public garden the other day to hunt down some ladybirds for you guys, but I couldn't find any! There was this little dog called Madge wandering around, so I said to her "seen any ladybirds?" She obviously thought it was a joke because she cracked up laughing.

I know I've been a terrible Flickr contact lately! I've been sick with an awful flu, and I've moved house, and I went on a little holiday up the East coast of Tassie to Coles Bay, which is where this shot of the Hazards was taken. I hit the beach as the golden light was fading, and just managed to get this shot in time. I've got a few more shots to post from my trip so you should see me on here a bit more :-)

Sorry I haven't been around lately, I've been hibernating! This is one from the archives - the little lady was wandering on a passionfruit flower last Spring. I can't wait for Winter to end :-)

I went up the mountain in the freezing cold the other night to get a sunset pic. Set myself up with my camera, freezing my butt off, and then... nothing! It was completely unspectacular. So I'm posting my favourite shot from my mushroom shoot a few weeks back to cheer myself up ;-)

I was stuck for a title for this mushy, so I just decided to call him Boris. He has a little flower seed on him so I've uploaded this at a slightly larger size in case you want to see the detail.

I'm feeling grumpy today because I found out there was an amazing Aurora in Tassie last night and I missed it. Grump grump grump.
