My first post to flickr! Did this one a few weeks ago as a prize in a charity auction. I have to admit having had a LOT of inspiration from this site! It felt great to be creating again.

    Argh! I had a comment all typed up and lost it...

    I'm on a learning curve - I would love to say that it was supremely difficult, but the reality is that it was super simple. I started off cutting all my circles and then pinning them to a board. I then stitched the layers one at a time, doing random patterns in the stitches until they looked finished and then finished with a button. The hardest part is the planning, but once that is done its super easy with the sewing.

    It was lots of fun, you should give it a go!
