Particle or Wave...

A question to ponder as I depart later tonight for China to visit some photonics companies. I'll try to take some photos.... =)

This photo is just a laser pointer aimed into the camera, creating a shower of unusual light effects and textures.

I took a QM class with Prof. Herb Kroemer at UCSB (Nobel Prize in Physics, 2000). He posed a similar question about the electron: is it a particle or is it a wave? My answer was correct; the answer is neither. It is an electron. Same applies here.
