I had searched in Google but there was more
than one possibility so asking directly was
best. It is always nice to meet with old
colleagues.
I learned a long time ago that whether you
want it or not people you know as early as in
your youth will always come back in your life
at some point. Honing good relationships
along the way is a great investment for the
future. You know that!

Amen to that Mimosa! You've articulated it
much more nicely than the original way I
heard that nugget of wisdom, "be careful
who you step on while you're climbing the
ladder; you're sure to meet them again on
your way back down."

Hey, I met a Bainey on a train once. We had
a fascinating conversation on the economics
of prostitution. I didn't realize how
well-known that firm was.

Why did they make you wear a badge! In
Silicon Valley *they* should be wearing
badges... :)

they handed you a badge when you walked in to
this event. not really a badge, but a
sticker. the person who greeted me stuck it
on my shirt without my asking.
steve may have suffered the same treatment
steve, 1) please ask tim d. to show up more
often to morning basketball, the goggle is
getting out of control---; 2) thanks for this
photo, which i blogged at plambeck.org.
finally, somewhere i think in this
photostream perhaps, you described how to
detect people blogging one's photos via a
google or technorati search perhaps, a
reminder would be appreciated

Tim adds control? ;-)
You can technorati search your whole photostream, or a specific page.

I think I need to get your autograph. Or
maybe a signed photo. Yes, that's what I
want. (Go Romney!)

So you worked under Romney at Bain? But
nothing to say about what sort of president
he'd make? Interesting.

I mean to solicit your opinions about your
past association not that particular
event...or does Bain have a lockdown on
general impressions. The uber NDA.

Weird how one finds things.. I saw the wired
article on someone's ebay blog.. which lead
me to wired ..which lead me to here... and in
looking at your profile I saw the very cool
thing for the National Geographic/IBM
Genographic Project and clicked through.
Since I'm adopted and haven't gotten a hit
in the 3 years since I put myself on the
Oregon open adoption list (stands to reason
since I'm now 53 that my parents have gone to
the great beyond) this is going to be a nice
little Christmas gift to myself so I can at
least see my ancient roots even if I can't
find my current ones.
Life is indeed a journey.. and thanks for
posting your results and link.
