Sea Launch at Sea![]() Earlier this morning, the Zenit rocket blasted off the converted oil platform floating at the equator. A friend who was on the launch ship sent me this shot. All three stages fired successfully, putting a nuke-hardened Italian SIRCAL satellite into geostationary orbit.
