LUNAR Launch

That’s my 7 ft. tall orange Aerotech Mirage rocket up there roaring through the sky and sending a wireless video feed down to a MPEG4 recorder base station on the ground.

At full size, you can see the black video camera near the nose cone.

She had two perfect launches today… I’ll see how long the video signal lasted. I hope it captured the crowd as they shrink into the distance...

Yes - Livermore is the launch location. LUNAR.org is the group site.

the rocket had two wonderful launches and everyting was recovered.. but the video feed cut off as the antenna rotated on launch (old batteries, I think...)

My Rockets set has links to a number of videos from other launches....
