IMHO, cookie cutters are a real bitch to use. You have to use enough flour on the surface, your hands and the cutters to coat the surface of a football field, and the damn dough STILL sticks everywhere.

Though I must admit, I made some last night, and I did pretty well -- two dozen cookies, and only two cookies (candy canes) stuck during the shaping process!
