I love film. I'm only just starting to flirt with different ideas and kinds of film this past year and I want to learn so much more about it. The other day I asked my photography teacher when we would get to use film and learn about developing photos and he just gave me this spiel about how it's a dying art and no one uses film. But to me, that's exactly why we need to be learning about it.

all of the photography teachers I've met are the opposite; they're all about showing the development stages to get a better appreciation and things.

yeah I really don't agree with most things my photography teacher says. he's really more about funny pictures and then something creative comes up and he's like "oh here's some more of that artsy stuff..."
