Annabel Lee

Annabel Lee

This was the last completed poem by Edgar Allen Poe and was published October 9th 1849, very shortly after his death. In the poem the narrator describes his love for Annabel Lee, which began many years ago in an unamed Kingdom by the sea. Though they were young, their love for one another burnt with such an intensity that the angels became jealous. They attempt to destroy this love by sending a chilling wind that kills Annabel Lee, however their love remains alive for eternity because the souls of the lovers remain united.
The death of a beautiful woman is a common theme in Poe's writings. Most Biographers agree that the poem was written for his wife Virginia, who died 2 years earlier of Tuberculosis.

Prince Albert in a can?????

At the Algonquin Mill Festival outside of Carrollton, Ohio. There was a craft vendor that used old baby dolls and lots of old rusty and crusty stuff to make the coolest most original and kinda creepy stuff that I've seen in a long time!!!
