As I was riding around looking for something to shoot I spotted the sun shinning through these trees with the fog rising up form this lake.

Early Daffodil

The daffodils are blooming about a month too early this year. They are in full bloom all around my neighborhood. When things bloom unseasonably early we always get a hard freeze that kills all of the beautiful flowers. I am enjoying while they last. Taken while on my morning walk. :)

Gold Finch

This is the time of year that many gold finches arrive in our area. I love taking backyard bird shots in the winter because the leaves on the trees do not obstruct the birds as much.
