Mickey:"The whole world's comin' to an end,
Mal!" Mallory: "I see angels, Mickey. They're comin'
down for us from heaven. And I see you ridin'
a big red horse, and you're driving them
horses, whippin' 'em, and the're spitting and
frothing all 'long the mouth, and the're
coming right at us. And I see the future, and
there's no death, 'cause you and I, we're
angels..." Mickey: "I love you, Mal." Mallory: "I know you do baby, and I've loved you
since the day we met."

breathtaking, endless. so many things from a
single frame.
to try and tell about it it's a continuous
scrolling up, gazing, scrolling down, trying
to point out one of the details, scroll up,
gazing, so on, body languages and light like
a nearby bonfire or maybe burning home, on a
flashback. superb. already a strong classic.
(and, is congratulations the proper thing
to say, in english, for an anniversary? well,
that :) best wishes!)

Hot dang, wouldja look what happens when you
post pics with skin in 'em--ha ha!
Thanks for the compliments all. This pic
didn't come out exactly like what I
envisioned in my head, but it's close enough
that it did the job, and you can only pose
naked in front of a camera with yer man and a
gun so many times before you just have to [edited], you know?
Ahem. Anyway:
@Solodad, Madi, and AtPanda: I'm amused by
how many Angelina Jolie references have
cropped up in the comments on the past 2
photos. I mean, c'mon now, I ain't *that*
hot. ;)
@ Mr. Trona--Mallory Knox is totally hot.
And someone said something about NBK on the
previous photo too...<3 <3 <3 for
Juliette Lewis...
@Tsunami Notes--thanks for the
congratulations (yes, you had it right). We
enjoyed the evening...right up till the wine,
bathroom door, and broken-toe incident (him,
not me). Owie.
@Milkman's Daughter--even if it wasn't
intended, it's still funny!
@Master and Commander--terrifying? Only if
it were loaded. Heh heh.
@Solodad: I dunno, I never timed it
before...looks like it's currently #29 in
Explore, that might have sumpin' to do with
it.

This is absolutely beautiful. I'm sure a lot
of people will read into the nuances of the
setup, but it's just a powerful image on its
own.

My first thought on seeing this image was
that it should be on the cover of a Mickey
Spillane novel. (I have not yet seen
"Mr. and Mrs. Smith," although it
is on the short list of videos I want to
rent.)

This is such a great picture. Looks like
something out of the movies, like a movie
poster or something. Excellent. Fav'd.

i think what i like most about this is the
feeling I get that he is not going to harm
her at all, and she doesnt feel threatened at
all...its intriguing; if you mentally take
away the gun, its all about the love...thats
what seems to shine through the image to me.
Beautifully done no matter what the
interpretation...

Powerful, sexy image, but I didn't take away
anything about law enforcement or
anniversaries. Handguns are about force,
coercion (or protection against same, but the
naked women hardly seems a threat). Sex can
be about love, or power. To me this image is
all about sex and power.

great lighting and capture. Another one that
would be good for the "stop the
volience" campain. Gives me the
shivers. Reminds me of the
"honeymoon" phase of an abusive
relationship.
