27/366 - Silent Night

27/366 - Silent Night

Tonight we had a gorgeous sunset, followed by a gorgeous, clear blue sky. I was downtown getting ready for games night with the franz.

26/366 - Dino Scroll

26/366 - Dino Scroll

I did a massive room clean up today. I haven't cleaned it since before I left for Vancouver, and it truly needed it. I noticed that although my room has had several huge makeovers over the years, my dinosaur scroll stays the same. It's always a conversation starter when people visit, and I don't think I'll ever take it down.

24/366 – Fun Run

24/366 – Fun Run

Today I had the pleasure of shooting with Stratford’s premier ninja, Scott Barclay. We’ve known each other for nearly 18 years, and have spoken about shooting in the past, but never made it happen until today.

We decided to shoot at Avon school, but weren’t quite sure what to do. We walked around and had a few ideas, but nothing we’d come up with seemed worth shooting. Scott mentioned running along the wall, and that’s when the concept hit me.

This picture is a composite of 3 photographs. One with him wall running, one with him standing against the wall, and one with his shoe with the laces untied. I spent about 2.5 hours on it in Photoshop.

I made this portrait to show Scott’s agility and quick thinking in a humorous, yet interesting fashion.

23/366 - Diffraction

23/366 - Diffraction

That is diffraction, right? We had to learn about diffraction and refraction in our Science of Photography class in college, and if I remember correctly, diffraction is when light bounces off a surface, or changes direction without messing up...? Wait is this JUST reflection? Bah I'unno.

Something like that, anyways I shot this while heading out to meet up with Tara today. Once again the weather has gone wacko, and all the snow has melted. Now it's getting cold again though.
