Minneapolis: Mary Tyler Moore

A very famous statue of Mary Tyler Moore in downtown Minneapolis. Moore starred in the appropriately named Mary Tyler Moore Show in which a she infamously throws her hat into the sky. This statue commemorates that moment from the intro of that show. It was placed here in 2002 with Moore present. Oh, and I am in the photo too.

This is an area known as Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. As far as I am concerned, this is the city center. The Target Center is nearby as are many shopping and dining establishments. All are connected by a complex infrastructure of skyway bridges.
