Thanks both! Glad it's brought a smile (he seems to have mislaid his). Can't believe I got it. I was making - fairly convincingly I hope - like I was texting or doing something on my phone... His gaze didn't linger on me, that was genuinely his expression of choice for the minute I was there.

as soon as I saw your quote I remembered the original shot and that made me laugh - it's such a sweet retort! Lou will love this! But it works on its own without knowing the original exchange (you have the link in any case) so I'd have chosen this any way - it's a great shot! But for some of us it has an extra dimension and I think we have to remember that art is like that... there are many layers of interpretation, and we don't all see the same thing. Thanks for bringing a smile!
