Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth

I have a problem. It's a big problem.

I love taking pictures but I am not very good at sharing them!!! Back in the good old days of film, I had prints as proof that I took the photograph and they now sit in photo albums. The negatives are securely safe in negative holders inside binders.

Now that everything is digital, I feel I have accrued more hard drives than prints. It's sad really but if I were to print every single photograph I have ever taken, I think I would go broke!

I'm trying to think of a more practical way to do this without spending too much or fear that my photos will get lost somewhere on the interwebs... alas, not much has come to my brilliant mind!

So for now, I'm going to eat whatever I want, take pictures whenever I want, and share however I feel like after...

Curious Spencer

Curious Spencer

Spencer doesn't see much cameras in his face even though
he's such an old man! He's so muscular that if he runs into you
without expecting, you can easily lose your balance!

Eggplant Fries with Sea Salt and Honey

Eggplant Fries with Sea Salt and Honey

This dish was inspired by Poppy on Capitol Hill. It wasn't battered as thick nor drizzled with as much honey but it was still delicious!

I also used wheat flour instead of white flour to make it "healthier". Then used the skinnier eggplants to get skin in most of the slices as well.

My stove top was at medium high heat but I may increase that higher for next time to add a bit more crispiness in every bite.

Mmm...

Mmm...

I took this photo for Go Deli!

It's not as clean as I would have wanted it to be but it was rushed and their counter employee had put it together without any styling experience. I wish I took more time tweezing that flake of croissant off, tucking the lettuce under, and tearing off the rough turkey meat edges. The clients wanted to use ingredients they would normally use in the store for realistic advertisement such as the pre-cut cheese. Overall, I am happy with the lighting that showcases the different textures and the different colors that came together.

My current situation looks and feels like this sandwich. It looks great and tastes great! It is filled with so much stuff that I don't know where to begin my first bite. Therefore to feel some sort of control, I decided to delete all my Flickr photos because I couldn't keep track of them anymore that requests from people asking to copy them is a little bit nerve-wrecking.

I hope my Flickr friends will keep me on their Contacts and continue to follow me on my Tumblr account and my personal website. Until then, I have been using Flickr as my resource to awesome helpful groups and try to get motivated on working with new personal projects again.

If you are a group admin and feel like I have violated group regulations by not having enough photos on here, please feel free to delete me. I will just request to add myself eventually when I have enough photos on here again.

Thank you.
