La maison rose de la Butte Montmartre

With a bright blue sky here, it would have been a perfect photo, I think

I put a brighter sky, but it is seldom bright in Paris

One takes what one can get, I suppose, but I wonder if this is a beneficial element. Nice picture, regardless. I hope things quieten down soon.

One of my very first images on flickr has almost 9000 view already!

I lived 20 years not far from the rose house on butte Montmartre, the impressionists painted. At their time it was still a village, a cheap one, not part of Paris, now "in" for the last years.

J'y habité vingt ans dans le temps, pas loin de là. J'y rêve encore. J'y retourne toujours avec nostalgie sur la Butte Montmartre. Un des coins paint des impressionistes, il y a plus de cent ans.

I think it was repainted rose, because one time, when it was rose, it got painted by one of the famous impressionists painters.

Adrian, I could "edit out" the part of the car but I cannt crop the image, because it would be desequilibrated then, it needs some place on that side you put the note, and no, it is never "clean" as in the old picture this days that place, now it is worse, they added a lamp and other things to it.

Et probablement, ce n'est pas la seule maison rose, mais en lisant ses vers, la maison prend de la magie et une être vétu - dans mon imagination à moi - seulement de douceur et tendresse attend et laisse une merveilleuse souvenir inoubliable, même si par la suite, elle attend vêtue de force et tristesse et d'un souvenir qui n'est plus tout rose.

Elle attend vêtue de sourire et de miel! Avec patience et tendresse.
