Fred R. White passes St. Helena Light

Fred R. White passes St. Helena Light by .jowo..
There's a scenic turnout on US-2, a few miles west of St. Ignace, which overlooks St. Helena lighthouse. Everything came together quite nicely for this picture....

Good timing with the freighter - I see some dust in your lens.

This is a really nice photo of the St. Helena Light. Where did you get close enough to get this, or do you have a really powerful zoom lens?

Shot it from the roadside park on US-2 which overlooks the island. Obviously it helped to have a long (300 mm--effectively about 450 mm on the digital camera; not a zoom) lens.

Glad you like!
