Mountain Light (Explore #1 - Thanks!)

2 nights
12 miles of hiking (6 in pitch black)
Ferocious winds
Sketchy river crossings
Legs frozen solid
Iceberg-caused bruised shins
A shout-at-the-top-of-my-lungs view
And a camera

That's what it's all about!

Thanks for looking,

~Josh

Was just telling friends today about how photography contacts in the states don't just wade out into water to get their shots they wade out into frozen rivers and there you are! - Crazy! But very cool Josh :-) - those ice blocks look fab and love that splash of pink catching the mountain

Wow, I don't think too many people are willing to get in that water, but they missed the chance for a shot like this. Beautiful (albeit chilly) comp, Josh.

Perfectly placed foreground ice chunk. The one you chose is perfect...crystal clear and structured. Getting that last glow on the peak behind gives that last breath of warmth on this shot.
