PB you should also think about watermarking your images or using before you go on holiday and find some market seller offering you a picture of yourself.. yourself.. yourself.. yourself.. ( I think you get the picture )..
Anyhow I realise your a very intelligent guy but here's a useful link you or others may wish to ponder

amazing, i wonder what´s on your brain...really, a great image a great concept...well done...
Josh Sommers (76 months ago | reply)
beatriz, to answer your question, I sometimes suffer from anxiety, and this was an image inspired by anxiety because well, the fear inside of me is just me, or in other words there is nothing to fear but fear itself- it is all within me.

Great!
I initially saw your images in Masters of Adobe, I think you are above, you should be a doctor of image manipulation!

Josh Sommers (75 months ago | reply)
Joojo, thank you very much...did you have something in particular in mind for another tutorial?

Absolutely amazing! I read your comment regarding the inspiration for this photo; and well, if you don't mind my asking...did it help? I imagine that it might. What a great outlet! Have a great tomorrow!
Josh Sommers (74 months ago | reply)
Well, it's hard to say. At that moment, probably yes, but it is more an expression of the feeling than it is a cure for the problem.
Jolene Monheim (74 months ago | reply)
by another tutorial - I meant, I'd love to know how you did THIS particular process... I went to the places you mentioned to get the math formulas, but don't have the time to put it togeher.... Maybe you'll reconsider and post your process?
Josh Sommers (74 months ago | reply)
joojo, this is the droste effect, as explained in my droste tutorial which has all the links to software you need, installation instructions, the specific formula used and sample images to go along with the step by step instructions for the effect.

Josh Sommers (74 months ago | reply)
@FAB- Yes this is recursive. It is called the droste effect and is patterned after the MC Escher drawing "The Print Gallery".
Jason Leslie Rogers [deleted] (74 months ago | reply)
This picture is obviously

This would make a great poster. I can see it on the wall of some goth kid now. Excellent work.

Unbelievable! Effect and work put into this Love the idea, I've never seen anything like this on Flickr. The title is perfect.

Thank you Mike, that is a great compliment!
**Anik Messier** (74 months ago | reply)
How the hell did you achieve that? ;-) Amazing work!
Josh Sommers (74 months ago | reply)
Missus_Magik- This was done using photoshop, the gimp and mathmap. In photoshop I manually painted a hole into my chest, with stretch marks and a bloody fleshy edge. Then I brought the image into the GIMP and used mathmap with a custom droste effect script to create the recursive spiral. Thanks for your interest, compliment and invitation.
