      indianponygal- I do consider myself to be an artist, but you said "also" so I assume what you mean is an artist in addition to being a photographer? If that is the case, in the context of what I think you are asking, then I think the answer is no, because I did this image with my camera and my computer, no charcoal or pencils or paper involved. :)

      But, I still consider myself to be an artist anyway, my medium just happens to be a stylus instead of a paintbrush.

      Is this supposed to be you? because it was my brother, Marion Talmadge Lewis, many years ago-before his sickness took over so much-his sad expression, the way he felt, wanting to fade away, tried a few times, I knew how he felt, I am his siter, but he would never open up to anyone enitely, not even me....He passed away 6 yrs ago, standing up, as if angels carried him away, they said, with a smile on his face. Did you meet him? He didn't talk much. Please contact me.
