CPT roleplay simulating violence by Israeli settlers and soldiers![]() In the yard behind CPT headquarters in Chicago, the summer 2007 trainees stage a realistic role-playing exercise to prepare them for nonviolent accompaniment work on the CPT Hebron team. In the front of the crowd are three Israeli settler women jubilantly taunting, protected by three Israeli soldiers who are forcibly shoving five Palestinian men and women against the wall of the building. At the far left are Kryss Chupp (training coordinator) and CPTers casually observing. We practiced this scenario with and without the CPTers intervening.
