Michael Chaiken introduces films (three shorts by the Maysles Brothers) for the last time at the International House, Philadelphia on February 13, 2006. I was happy to see him get a standing ovation. Chaiken is one of the finest programmers this city has ever had and he's also one helluva guy. Philadelphia has lost a creative, brilliant person. Thank you, Michael, for slogging it out in this shitty city and for being my friend now and always.
