The Lake of Rain

Location: Serra da Freita - Arouca - Portugal

This was shot past January (No, haven't dedicated much time this year to post-processing). I remember it was freezing this day, with a strong and cold wind. Lucky for my gloves and polar buff, and a nice warm cup o' tea.

Quick tip: when shooting in cold weather, always take a hot drink and food with you. Seriously! Not only as a safety measure, it will also keep you comfortable and focused.

Portela da Anta

If you're wondering what's this bunch of rocks, this is called "Portela da Anta", which is presumed to be a grave built in about 2000 BC (the same time as Stonehenge), this monument is located in the middle of Freita. Although it remains well preserved, it deserved a little more respect by those who visit it.
