New apartment part 2
Lots of work has been done, most of it stressful and having to do with electricity. Then we tore up the carpet to get at the maple floors and decided to do minimal restoration in order to keep all the accumulated marks and patina from years of use. Seems to have come out pretty well. The company who did the work was excellent. Highly recommended.

Rainy day
NYC Velo built me some new wheels out of my old Record hubset, but it is pouring rain outside today and I'm not in the mood for getting soaked.
Verdict: These wheels are like butter. I've now ridden them several times to compare, and they have to be my best riding wheels now.
