Of course I didn't forget to bring 'some' film to Berlin. My bag was packed with new and old rolls of film. Didn't shoot as much as I wanted to, but the results aren't what They're supposed to be. Some shots show more grain than actual image. I'm a great fan of grain and don't think it's ugly, but to much is to much.. Also my scanner had some issues with scanning one roll. It's partially scanned. Can't say it was an huge deception though. Got some pretty neat shots, like this old vespa. Fuji pro film overall looked quite nice. Maybe I did to much 'point and shoot'..
I'm still waiting on a roll of T max, so maybe that will make up for it.
For now I hope you can enjoy my images as much as I do. Loved the hotel room/ night set of Berlin and so did you. 10 out of 12 shots made it to explore. Maybe I need to shoot the Nikon lens/ canon body combination more. It isn't perfect, but I feel like the limitations enable me to get the most out of the camera. I shot with the 17-85mm canon lens the next day, and those were more like regular holiday snapshots.
Learned, or reminded, myself some great things in those 3 days I was there. First of all I need to take more time taking my shots. But I feel like the most important things is that I need to shoot way more digital and try to do so in challenging conditions, to get the most out of myself. The same accounts for film by the way.
I Guess it's all about learning new things and trying to keep on challenging yourself, so you can always improve yourself..
