I'm not completely sure, but this was probably the first picture I took in Joensuu with my Mamiya 645. I had been there no longer than a couple of days, and I wanted to go for a walk. I experienced how temperatures of -20ºC can hurt, a lot!

Shot almost to years ago in Savonlinna, during the long walks we used to have with my girlfriend.

The beach was short and the cliffs steep. It gave me a good opportunity to find good spots to shoot from, but, at the same time, I almost broke my neck trying to reach some of them... Move up and down a cliff with a 200 f2,8 it's not what I would call a piece of cake!

A good swell in the Mediterranean Sea is something rare. We had had a week with heavy rains, strong winds and really bad weather. But Wednesday morning was different.

Technically, it's complicated to take pictures in the Catalan coast, as you are quite often shooting against the light... Besides that, the shooting came out pretty good.

I finally got the chance to scan some pictures I took last year in Finland. It's a pity the scanner was too small for the whole picture, it cut some sides.

I went many days to see the sunset on the shore of the frozen Pyhäselkä Lake. They are cold and long, but amazingly beautiful.
