tongue tricks, January 2004

My sister, who is five grade levels younger than me, could not roll her tongue as a small child.  She tells me that (in a moment of sheer brilliance) I told her she can't go to school unless she could roll her tongue.  O the panic and distress she experienced!!  (She wanted to ride the bus to school like her cool older sister and do whatever her cool older sister does there when she's gone.)

I did not remember this at all, and kept applauding myself after she told me.  I don't think she was too pleased.
