My friend's first attempt at light painting for the night. Shot at a more open aperture than my attempt, and a slower shutter speed. He apparently can make better circles than I can, must be the lower center of gravity (as in he's short!).

Yup, its just burning steel wool, then, spin around to create the sparks. You could use a 9v battery to light the wool too.
