This was the Customer Service Center of United Airlines on a busy Wednesday afternoon at LAX. Not pictured: a huge line of pissed off people with more hope than I had.
Eventually, a nice United Airlines ticket agent showed up. While making it clear that it wasn't her job to serve as a customer service rep, she offered to answer questions for the people in line to the best of her ability. Several minutes later, the actual customer service rep showed up. She made it clear from her demeanor that it was the last place on Earth she wanted to be.
