My field guide says that this species is less timid than other Grasswrens. What an understatement! For the first time in my life, I had to run backwards taking shots as the birds rapidly approached. At one point, one of the birds got tired of posing and had a dust bath next to my tripod leg. After seeing that, I made sure to look around before moving my tripod.
I've got a lot of shots of this species, but I will just post two for now.
