So I've basically abandoned flickr in favor of tumblr, because it's definitely a better and more connected way to journal my work as well as the things that inspire me. Victoria and I had some free time after a shoot in NYC was rescheduled this weekend, so we had a good time relaxing and taking a few fun shots of her with her new hair color.

I seriously can't decided if I prefer brunette or ginger. <3

Geek note: Single strobe with a pair of blackcards, shot against a wall in the garage.

Geek note:I can't say enough good things about the Nikon 85mm 1.8.

Somehow she becomes more beautiful as time passes.

I guess I hadn't been paying attention, but I loaded Fuji 400X instead of 400h into the camera... let's just say skintones were a struggle to normalize, especially after the terrible scanning at CVS. However, to say that I'm unhappy with the results would be a lie. :)

Last friday, Victoria and I went for a walk on the promenade, waited in line for an hour and forty minutes at Grimaldi's and had a picnic at the new Brooklyn Bridge Park on the border of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. The view of the skyline at night across the east river is incredible... almost as incredible as the pizza from Grimaldi's.
