The stick figure looks on with wonder at the sense of depth in his two dimensional world. He saw that documentary o TV where the stick figure scientists talked about the "3rd dimension", but he's having a hard time imagining it. In the distance, the sun sets behind a far off horizon, far because the lines are thinner in the distance and thicker close up, as everyone knows. Yet, those scientists talked about something called "perspective" and how distant objects appear to be smaller because of their distance. It's something that blows his mind and he wonders to himself, "How large is that sun really?"

Created in photoshop with Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. For this drawing, I used the "paintbrush" nib, the black one with the white tip. I tried using the felt pen nib but it was too slow and not smooth enough for the wispy parts.

He's a box, and he's got an attitude. Maybe he needs a haircut. Maybe he needs better arms. Maybe he wishes he were a circle. We can't ever really know until we ask him. Oh box guy. What is your problem?

Random light patterns always catch my eye. This is an interesting mix of hard and soft light in a hallway outside of my photo studio.
