Saturn as seen at the 2006 Winter Star Party

Saturn as seen at the 2006 Winter Star Party by cosmosjon.
This photograph was a collaboration between Jim Lamm and me at the February, 2006 Winter Star Party in the Florida Keys.

Details: a Philips TouCam (webcam) was attached to my 10" Meade LX200 telescope.

We shot an AVI movie that resulted in approximately 900 images being taken (at 20-frames-per-second), which were then stacked and processed using Registax software... resulting in this final image.

that's a great image! guess stacking that many images makes a huge difference. never got this clarity out of mine, but i think I stopped at about 10 images. good work.
