I was walking down a street and as I passed this alley this man was just standing there staring at this mural and not moving at all...how couldn't I stop?

Interpretation: what is the meaning? Art is one of those things that is inherently postmodern...the meaning or value is up to the viewer most of the time, and the author's meaning is hidden within and sometimes unknown.

Should one treat his Bible's the same? If one claims the Bible as his source of authority, what authority has it if the meaning is hidden or up to the reader?

If you claim the Bible as the final authority on life, it is extremely important to study the intent of the author, the context of the passage, and the meaning of the words being written to interpret scripture accurately and to be able to confidently assert that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Living God.
