It's a whole house makeover! (well, the exterior, anyway).

Oct. 18: Chimney scaffolding

Oct. 21: Install flu liner & chimney cap

Oct. 24: Windows arrive

Oct. 25: Many windows installed; shutters removed; scratch coat applied on chimney & front stoop

Oct. 26: Remaining windows installed (except one); front stoop extended; retaining wall foundation

Oct. 27: Last window installed; window trim started

Oct. 30: Dining window trim completed; retaining wall foundations poured

Oct. 31: Additional window trim completed; some siding removed & home wrapped; first window capped

Nov. 1: Big day! Siding & trim completed on left side; siding & trim started in rear; many windows capped. Stacked stone stoop half complete, both stone retaining walls started

Nov. 2: Siding on rear of house started; chimney stone started; stacked stone stoop completed

Nov. 3: Siding on rear of house completed; right side started; chimney stone completed; slate on front stoop; additional retaining wall added

Nov. 4: Siding completed; chimney grout added

Nov. 6: Grout added to front stoop and retaining walls... stone work is done!

Nov. 9: Portico assembled; painting started.

Nov. 10: Portico & painting completed.

Nov. 13: Rear utility door installed.

Nov. 14: Roof installed.

Nov. 16: Gutters installed.

Nov. 30: Shutters installed.

I'll keep this set updated as work proceeds on the house.
