16gb ipod touch

my new toy... welcome to the family!

i still don't know why, but when i originally ordered the ipod, it was supposed to be released on september 28th and so i prepared myself for the agonizing wait... and then i start hearing on www.ilounge.com that people have started getting them... wtf? why would apple jump ahead of it's launch date and ship ipods out to brick and mortar stores and leave it's online customer's out in the cold? i guess i'll have to wait and see what the story is. anyways, i cancelled my online pre-order and called around to see which places had the 16gb ipod touch... the two nearest apple stores, brea and pasadena, both got shipments in but then i found out that the best buy in west covina had them and so that's where i went. actually met up with a co-worker, art, who i just told earlier that day that they were in best buy and he had also gone to get one... i hope he doesn't tell his girlfriend that it was me who told him about it... cos i'm pretty sure he didn't come into work that day expecting to be $400 lighter in the wallet and one ipod touch heavy... i should get comission!

heard a few negative reviews... but i love it so far. still have to... touch it some more to see what this baby is fully capable of... hehe
